Dan’s Our Marathon Man!

We’re thrilled to announce that one of our dedicated volunteer coaches, Dan Mason, is taking on the London Marathon this April, 10 years after he last completed the race to support Head In The Game. Covering a staggering 26.2 miles, the marathon is one of the ultimate endurance challenges—and Dan is ready to give it his all!
Running a marathon is no small feat, even for someone who has done it before. It takes incredible commitment, long hours of training, and a lot of mental resilience. But Dan isn’t just running for the personal achievement; he’s chosen to dedicate this monumental effort to raising awareness and funds for Head In The Game. His journey embodies everything we stand for—using sport to improve mental health and fight the stigma surrounding it.
Dan’s efforts will help us continue our mission to prevent suicide and provide support through our free 12-week mental fitness programs and community initiatives. Every step he takes is a step toward a future where everyone can access the mental health support they need.
Dan shared his thoughts on the challenge ahead: “Running the London Marathon again, 10 years after my last one, is a unique challenge. Being able to do it for a cause I’m so passionate about makes it even more special.” Head In The Game has changed so many lives, and I hope this effort can inspire others to speak up and seek help when they need it.”
