We are thrilled to extend a warm welcome to professional footballer Reghan Tumilty of Hamilton Academical FC as our newest ambassador for Head In The Game.

Reghan’s commitment to promoting positive mental health practices both on and off the pitch is truly commendable.

His passion for raising awareness about mental health issues aligns seamlessly with our charity’s mission. Reghan’s desire to create long-term positive change resonates with supporters and will inspire others to join our cause.

Reghan kicked off his football career with Dundee United in 2013 before transferring to Ross County in June 2016. He made his senior debut on December 28, 2016, against Celtic and got his first competitive start in April 2017, also against Celtic.

After a loan period at Falkirk from November 2017 to January 2018, he left Ross County in May 2018. He then signed with Greenock Morton in July 2018, scoring on his debut against Partick Thistle. Following 40 appearances, he extended his contract in June 2019. He then had loan spells with Dumbarton and a subsequent two-year contract with Raith Rovers, where he made 85 appearances.

In June 2022, he moved to English football, joining League Two’s Hartlepool United. Reghan made a mark, scoring a crucial equaliser in an FA Cup first-round replay. He left Hartlepool in January 2023 and joined Hamilton Academical in February, playing a key role in their victory in the 2023 Scottish Challenge Cup final against Raith Rovers. Despite a brief departure at the end of the 2022–23 season, he quickly re-joined the club.

Together, we look forward to championing mental health awareness and breaking down the stigma surrounding it, thanks to the invaluable support of individuals like Reghan Tumilty.
