Supporting Suicide Prevention With Spurs Legends

Yesterday, we were proud to have a stand and exhibit at the Spurs Legends v Herne Bay Vets charity match at Whitstable FC, all in support of Legend on the Bench – a charity dedicated to suicide prevention and mental health awareness.

It was fantastic to engage with the local community alongside our partners at Herne Bay PCN, sharing information about our Game On Herne Bay project and the free sports sessions we’re delivering to help improve mental fitness across the area.

The day brought together Spurs greats including Gary Mabbutt, Mark Falco, Tony Galvin, Micky Hazard, David Howells, Pascal Chimbonda, David Kerslake, Kevin Watson, Stuart Nethercott and many more, all helping to raise vital funds and awareness.

We’d like to say a huge thank you to East Kent Spurs for organising this special occasion, and to everyone who came along to show their support. It was a real pleasure to see so many people coming together, talking about mental health, and celebrating football as a force for good.

Together, we can keep making a difference – on and off the pitch.
