Max Ramsden Memorial Cup

In 2021 alone 11,551 men tragically passed away as a result of completing suicide, making it the biggest killer of men under the age of 55 in the United Kingdom.

Max Ramsden was just 36 when he took his own life in November of last year.

Max was a dedicated father of five as well as a keen football fan, player and coach. He was an amazing, doting Dad who was truly loved by everyone he met. He was always the life and soul of the party and there was never a dull moment with him around. There isn’t a person in this world he wouldn’t have helped, he was genuinely liked by absolutely everyone.

His family will forever hold a precious place for him in their hearts.

With the support of Max’s friends and family, Head In The Game hosted the Max Ramsden Memorial Cup to The Den, the home of Millwall Football Club on 20th May 2023. Ex Millwall and Ireland International Steven Reid gave an emotional speech about the importance of talking and reaching out during poor periods of mental health.
